PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Monthly Meeting of the Beekman Fire District for  January 2010 will take place immediately following the Reorganizational Meeting.

The result of the special election held March 24, 2009 to determine if the resolution dated February 11, 2009 authorizing the sale or other disposition of a certain 34-13 1996 KME pumper (the "Apparatus"), which is no longer necessary for any of its uses or purposes, be approved is as follows:

NOTICE OF SPECIAL FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION OF THE BEEKMAN FIRE DISTRICT, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK TO BE HELD ON MARCH 24, 2009

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a special election of the Beekman Fire District, Dutchess County, New York, to be held on March 24, 2009, a proposition in substantially the following form with respect to a resolution dated February 11, 2009 will be submitted:
PROPOSITION
Shall the following proposition be adopted, to wit:

Shall the resolution dated February 11, 2009 authorizing the sale or other disposition of a certain 34-13 1996 KME pumper (the "Apparatus"), which is no longer necessary for any of its uses or purposes, be approved?

Said special Fire District election shall be held between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. Prevailing Time, on March 24, 2009 at Fire District Headquarters located at
316 Beekman-Poughquag Road, Poughquag, NY  12570, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Town Law.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Regular Monthly Meetings of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Beekman Fire District will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and the Workshop Monthly Meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Beekman Fire House, 316 Beekman-Poughquag Road, Poughquag, New York.
