Important Notice on Water Conservation for the Birch Hill Water System

Swim Pond Weir Bid Docs 2021-0415

The Town of Beekman is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for certain improvements at the Beekman Recreation Park, which is located at 29 Recreation Center Road, Poughquag, NY 12570. The work shall generally include the removal of the existing stone weir on the Fishkill Creek and construction of the new weir along with stepped scour holes using flat stones, riprap, and general fill. The work will also include the installation of an upstream temporary cofferdam, excavation dewatering, stabilization and seeding of the disturbed areas, and general site cleanup as shown on the drawings and specifications for a complete and fully functional permanent weir for the Beekman Recreation Swim Pond. Separate sealed bids will be received by the Beekman Town Clerk until 3:00PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. All bids must be made upon and in accordance with the form of proposals included in the bid package, and shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked as “ Beekman Recreation Park – Swim Pond Stone Weir Improvements”. Bids will be opened and publicly read at Town Hall, 4 Main Street, Poughquag NY, 12570.
